The Manor

Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania

From  $500  per Person

Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steppe onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home.

The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its 10 luxurious cottages and magnificent main Manor House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate.

The kids loved the stay at The Manor.  The chance to ride horses and go for a bike ride made them so happy.  What a great way to give them a little break from all the game-drives, while Jim and I were able to get down to the Crater Floor and see some more of the amazing African Wildlife.      ---      Kathy, Jim, Emma & Toby,  December 2011

The grounds are stunning.  We thought that the wood burning fireplace in the cottage was just for looks.  But to our surprise it was very cold during the night.  It was quite romantic.    ---      Newly Weds, September 2012
